You can check out as many issues as you want and keep them in your account as long as you wish. It’s very straightforward and really easy to use.

Scroll through the cover display or or search by keyword or genre to find the magazine you want. Click on the cover to view the issues available. Select the current issue or one of the back issues (which are displayed just below the current one) and then click to to check out!

Select your magazineHere’s the 1 October 2016 edition of BBC Good Food Magazine. You can see the current edition as well as the back issues available. Just click one the blue “Checkout” to start reading.

The details page tells you a bit about the magazine including the frequency of publication as well as providing a tick box to select if you’d like an email reminder when the next issue is available to read. You’ll also find links to the apps.

Once you’ve checked out the magazine you can read the pages of the digital edition just like a paper version. Everything is included; title page, all content, covers and even the advertisements. It’s laid out exactly like the paper version.

Easy reading

full content displayedWe think you’ll find reading the electronic magazine comfortable and familiar. The layout, pictures and content are identical to the magazine newsstand. There’s a large arrow > to turn the page forward and another one < to go back but there are a few features you won’t get in hard-copy. You can zoom to make the image larger and easier to read, switch to a “text only” view (i.e. get the articles without the pictures), jump forward to a specific page for quick browsing, bring up the table of contents at the press of a button, and finally, you can print the best bits to keep or share.

We think you’ll find RBdigital and exciting new addition to the services available from Richmond upon Thames Libraries! Here’s a teaser selection of the titles on offer….
